Established in 2011 under the umbrella of Hume Islamic Youth Centre (HIYC), Tanzeel Academy’s vision is to “contribute to the wider efforts to establish a Muslim community in Australia who will learn, practice and teach The Qur’an in its authentic form”.

The school’s three core subjects are; Iqra, Islamic studies and the memorisation & understanding of The Qur’an.

Tanzeel academy is known for its unique Iqra program which aims to give our students the confidence they need to be able to read from The Qur’an at an exceptional level, fluently with all the tajweed rulings.

Since its establishment, the school has grown from a small group of students to over 180 students (boys and girls).

Classes resume 20th April. Our Classes operate on Saturdays (only) from 10am to Dhuhr.
